Students receive more than an Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Redeemer is a private school inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Successful students receive an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Because our curriculum delivers distinctly Christian content, we also offer a Christian High School Diploma to those students who complete extra requirements.
Learning Excellence
Redeemer teachers aim to engage the hearts and minds of students, to challenge them, and ultimately, to strengthen their character. They integrate a Christian worldview into their curriculum by focusing on the significant and meaningful questions and issues. It is important to us that our students are equipped to think critically about the world around them and to engage in analysis, evaluation, and synthesis.
Opportunities
At Redeemer, it’s about providing opportunities for learning. We offer a wide range of courses at the applied and academic levels, in a semester system. Our desire is for students to find programs that fit with their dreams and aspirations. We offer options in Math and Sciences, English and Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, and Technology. We have a co-op program where our students learn as they work in our community and in local business.
Our students are prepared to further pursue their areas of interest and expertise in post-secondary education. We have a Guidance Department that assists our students in planning their academic program and in applying to colleges and universities.

“The learning that happens here is a launching pad for our graduates’ futures.”
– Linda Delean, principal

Students come to Redeemer from private elementary schools, from publicly funded systems, and from home school environments. While high school is a big jump for many teens, in our close knit community new students are made to feel welcome and quickly make friends.

Our French program options range from an Open level French class for students who have little or no knowledge of French to learning Geography or History entirely in French.
