Introduction
After a summary of the historical and social setting between the Old and New Testaments, students examine the
gospel of Matthew to discover connections between the Old Testament and the person of Jesus. Context and
content is examined for the book of Acts, three of Paul’s letters, James and Revelation. A summary of the origins
and devotional uses of New Testament texts completes the course.
