I have been teaching Science at Redeemer since 2005. My education is in Biochemistry and Physiology, and I spent two years in protein research before going into teaching. I am a self-confessed science geek who is easily excited by the amazing things God has placed in this created universe, and it is my passion to infect my students with that same sense of wonder. I am not just concerned with imparting the body of knowledge that is science, but in teaching my students to think scientifically and critically, and to prepare them for their future with the knowledge that God has revealed His great love to us through His creation.
I am also the staff adviser to Redeemer’s elected student council, which is responsible for enriching the student life experience at Redeemer with fun events as well as fundraisers that make a difference locally and internationally.
Recently, I took on a position on the Board of Directors at St. Timothy’s Classical Academy, where my three children attend and thrive.
