Using a photograph that you took of yourself, you are to create 3 self-portraits in the pen and ink style with a watercolour additive or wash.  Your challenge is to represent yourself in a way that somehow expresses some sort of social or political issue that is dear to you.  The composition should be such that your self-portrait tells the story or expresses your opinion of the social or political issue.  Your goal is to make it obvious enough that a person who has never spoken to you might understand simply by looking at it!  To do this you may wish to strictly keep this a portrait in the pure sense (shoulders up) or you may introduce props.  Beware of making cheesy kitsch!
