After much consideration, the Board and Administration at Redeemer Christian High School introduced mandatory school issued clothing effective September 2010.  Although our school had a dress code for many years, it was difficult to enforce and open to interpretation.

We are excited about the positive impact uniforms will have on our school culture and we're encouraged by the strong show of support we've had from our school community.

Redeemer has chosen to use RJ McCarthy school uniform company.  This is a Canadian company and Canada's largest school uniform supplier, serving over 500 Canadian schools, including other Ottawa schools.

Below are some photos of our own students modelling sample clothing sent to us by McCarthy.  Not all pieces we   offer are shown here, but these photos will give you an idea of what our uniform combinations can look like.

We strongly encourage students to come in for a fitting, with a parent.  They may try on sample pieces in different sizes to get the best fit possible.  Students already registered in June placed their orders and they will be availalbe for pick up on Registration Day (September 2, 2010, 9 am to 12:30 pm).  By having everyone order at once, we are getting the best prices possible.

Please note,  the school ordered extra clothing in a variety of sizes.  These clothes will be available in September specifically for our new students who register over the summer months.  Everyone, however, will have another chance to place an order in late October 2010.
